The State Minister for Energy has had a tough day before the Parliamentary Committee on National Economy following revelations in the Auditor General’s report that three Chinese Companies constructing the Karuma, Isimba and Agago dams were awarded the contracts in total breach of the PPDA procedures.

Minister D’ujang admitted before the Committee that there was an executive directive ordering the Ministry’s contracts committee to apply single sourcing method without any competitor.
