The Commission has recently carried out its biennial review of the public procurement thresholds which apply to contracts awarded under the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 and the Utilities Contracts Regulations 2006. From 1 January 2016, the revised figures set out in the table below will be in force.
Interestingly, whereas the Euro figures are revised upwards, the new sterling equivalent figures will in fact be significantly lower than the current thresholds given the relative strength of the pound compared to this time two years ago.
The existing thresholds will continue to apply to competitions commenced before 31 December 2015.
