What a bizarre and dangerous attitude to procurement people. Believe me, if the procurement person is worth their salary, they will know for themselves which offer is best and will make the decision with confidence. You should also bear in mind that procurement doesn’t end with order/contract placement and the procurement person will be involved to ensure the contract is delivered as expected.
